Fabric
Use composition, lining and stretch information to compare garments without relying on a fabric name alone.
Look for the composition supplied on the product page. A fabric name alone does not describe every detail of a garment. Avoid assuming a fibre percentage when it has not been provided.
Read any supplied stretch, lining and opacity notes. These answer different questions from composition. An absent detail means the information has not been supplied; it should not be treated as a yes or no.
Think about how you intend to layer and wear the garment, then compare the facts that matter to that use. Check care instructions before purchasing if you need a particular cleaning method.
